Golf Communities in the Columbus GA area

Bull Creek Golf-This city owned and operated golf course is as good as the rest. Located off Lynch Rd in East Columbus. Watch for the deer when you hit.
Maple Ridge Golf- This upperscale planned community built around a very hard golf course. Homes are priced in the $300,000 to $1 million range. Located in a great section of town with just off the interstate with access points to Veterans Parkway as well as Schaumberg Rd this community is convenient to all the new shopping as well as excellent schools.
Green Island Hills- The old Southern Open was here for a number of years, this is an older golf and lake community although there are a few new homes in the community. It is built along Lake Oliver off River Road just north of the JR Allen Pkwy. It also has a well maintained Golf Course and it is convenient to all the great shopping, restaurants and other amenities Columbus GA has to offer. Homes are generally priced in the $300,000 to 2 million ranges although there are homes worth considerably more in the community.
Lakewood- Located in Phenix City off Summerville Road.
Woodland Hills golf community is for those of you who do not want to be right in town. Located right at the Muscogee Co. and Harris Co. line just off the Manchester expressway Woodland Hills offers a more rural setting with golf and lake amenities and homes priced in the $250,000 to $400,000 range. It is still only about 12 minutes back to the Peachtree Mall next to the I185 expressway.
Columbus Country Club offers an established club in the center of Columbus in the Hilton area close to Lake Bottom park. This beautiful old established club is a fixture in Columbus offering golf, tennis, workout facilities, pool, and fine dining.
